Heather Spear is widely known for her talent and artistry in creating young, fresh, beautifully unique, and stylish events. Heather handles all levels of design and planning, specializing in multi-day celebrations and Lake Tahoe destination events that reflect the unique needs of each client and location. Involved with weddings and event design since 2000, she has planned and executed hundreds of social and corporate events ranging from small intimate gatherings to large-scale sophisticated affairs.
Heather's strong reputation grew through her ability to stay calm in any situation and the essential belief to respect, understand, and listen to her clients' wants and needs. Emphasizing the importance of establishing a distinct and personal relationship with each client, Heather ensures that the full potential of the couple's vision is realized, while creating the perfect fusion of function and style by incorporating her own insight and expertise. All of her clients share an appreciation for her incomparable work ethic, honesty, and the ability to create and execute a flawless event.
Prior to the formation of Summit Soiree, Heather gained invaluable experience as an Operations Manager of a destination management company at the prestigious Resort at Squaw Creek. From 2000-2005 she planned and operated corporate and special events on and off-site. Due to her time and experience dedicated to the Industry, Heather is widely respected by the area's leading service professionals and vendors, and has a vast knowledge of Lake Tahoe's premiere event locations.
Heather graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a BA in Environmental Studies and Psychology. She resides in Truckee, California with her husband and two children.

Tory's introduction into wedding and event planning began at the Resort at Squaw Creek, a AAA rated Four-Diamond resort and conference center in North Lake Tahoe. There she held the Wedding Sales Manager position for three and a half years; selling, planning and executing special events. During this time Tory was introduced to Summit Soiree, and joined the company in the Summer of 2010. She prides herself in making sure her clients are well taken care of, and that they feel completely confident about their Big Day. She makes sure she understands their expectations, and works to exceed them. Brides have said that she makes them feel relaxed, and at ease on their wedding day. The best part of wedding planning for Tory is beginning with a blank canvas on the wedding day, and contributing to all of the details coming together to create a beautiful and unique event for each unique couple.
